Trying My Best - Jarvis Johnson ($183K+ Sales)

Jarvis has always had a specific gravitational pull online: smart, meta, self-aware, and hilarious. He notices the details everyone else misses, and then breaks it down in a way that makes people feel understood and in on the joke.

His brand needed to be clever without trying, nostalgic but not costume-y, and rooted in the relationship he's built with the people who've watched him "try his best" for years. Nerdy, yet playfully cool; self-aware and relatably imperfect.

The custom colorblock cut-and-sew, primary colors, pre-Y2K website, and Rubik’s-cube graphic all played into the irony and observational humor his audience loves. One fan nailed it: “he used his software degree to make the most pre-Y2K merch site I’ve ever seen.” Yes, he did.

The result was a universe that felt like a visit back to early internet culture, for the fans who grew up right alongside him.
